Avocado Pico de Gallo

Ingredients

  • 5 medium tomatoes
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • ½ small red onion
  • 2 serrano peppers
  • 1/2 bunch cilantro
  • 1/2 tdp Salt

Instructions

  • After washing the tomatoes, dice them in small pieces and add to a medium sized bowl. Finely chop the onion, serranos, and cilantro and add to the bowl. Mix until the ingredients are combined.
  • Dice the avocado and add it to the bowl. Add the salt and gently mix to distribute the avocado evenly being careful not to mash the avocado too much.
  • Let the avocado pico de gallo sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together. Taste, adjust the salt as needed and serve!
